The Firehouse Community Arts Center

strives to give students across Greater Avondale access to a stage and a microphone. By doing so, young people are able to share their creative voices with the world.

Over the course of a year and a half, the Firehouse Community Arts Center has built three classrooms and two practice spaces, and it has welcomed several new students and Teaching Artists. Each day, the Firehouse gets closer to realizing its vision of creating a diverse and connected musical community.

Furnace Fest is teaming up with the Firehouse to give away two weekend passes (or two VIP upgrades) to one supporter of the Firehouse’s vision for a diverse and connected music scene in Birmingham. It’s easy – hit the green ‘Give Now’ button, and for each $5 donation, you’ll have a chance to win two free passes (or two VIP upgrades) to this year’s fest September 23-25 at Sloss Furnaces.  That’s right, a donation of $50 means you’re ten times more likely to win!

One supporter will win either two passes or two VIP upgrades (if the winner already has passes).

We’ll announce the winner at our Pizza Party and on our social media accounts at 4p on Monday, September 19th.
