WE WILL WORK WITH YOU!
Whether you sign up for weekly hour-long lessons, or just half-hour lessons, we encourage all our students to spend as much time learning and creating in our practice spaces as possible! We want everyone in our service area to learn and create together, and we do not want cost to be a barrier. Scholarships are available to students and families who need them, and we make sure they’re easy to access. We also want our students to be able to sponsor other musicians. In the registration form, please let us know if you would like to discuss scholarship or sponsorship opportunities. We will do our best to make it happen!

Lessons
We believe that a person’s first experience learning music should be relatable, relevant, and comprehensively geared towards developing the skills to make music. Through instruction in guitar, bass, drums, piano, songwriting, and recording, we focus on learning through the music that excites and inspires each individual. Ultimately, we seek to bring students with similar passions together to create in an environment that showcases the full range of opportunities that music can afford.
At the Firehouse, students are paired with teaching artists in a one-on-one setting where they will learn the basics of how to play their instrument, with a focus on their unique interests and needs. The cost of a monthly, hour-long lesson plan is $220/month, and for weekly half-hour lessons, $120/month. Young bands can book our fully-equipped practice spaces seven days a week, and hone their craft with an experienced musician. When the practice rooms are free, everyone is welcome to use them! Each dollar supports a local working musician, and a local scholarship student!
